On the same day as the Bike Rodeo a group of very dedicated cycling professionals met in another school parking lot in Plano to conduct a clinic on improving our PBA ride experience. Those in attendance were the Ride Leaders for each of our published rides with the session conducted by Mike Emmons and a little help from his friends. Many of you have no idea how they prepare for each ride EVERY week to make sure you have the best possible experience given the circumstances that occur on each unique ride.

Just a few of the things they addressed were how to handle road emergencies, maneuvering on the road in a group ride, how to handle the group dynamics and much more.

It was great to see leaders from all ride levels attend and show support, ideas, and training to each other. Here are some of the folks who attended. Please be sure to thank your Ride Leader the next time you see them for the time, effort, and dedication they put in to this VOLUNTEER position.
