This post is to let you all know that I am stepping down as the PBA Blog Editor beginning in January. I am so fortunate to have been your newsletter (and now blog) editor for well over 5 years and have enjoyed every minute.

Our club is comprised of some wonderful people and some pretty amazing characters and I can’t think of a better group of individuals to call on as part of my extended family. The stories some of you have told and the adventures you have taken have been nothing short of amazing and, in some cases, miraculous.

Thanks to Chris Mathews for originally asking me to be the PBA newsletter editor and trusting that I knew how to be pesky enough to unearth some good stories and curious enough to dig a little deeper. Thanks also to all the contributors over the years who have shared their stories and photos.  

I am, however, leaving you in the hands of a supremely talented lady who you already know and love. Lori Maucieri will be taking over as your Editor in January and I swear she is the only person who is equipped to take on this role. You have read her stories as the “Off The Back” contributor over the past year and, if you are lucky, you have been on rides with her. She brings a whole new perspective to the role and you will have a blast reading her stories and those of contributors who will support her. Did any of you ever watch “I Love Lucy” while you were growing up (or in reruns?) She is a real live Lucy and has the adventures to prove it. 

Enjoy the work that she shares with you and most of all enjoy each other! You are all pretty special !
